Huawei has been having a hard time lately, following the US ban that restricts it from dealing with tech firms. This week, the Chinese tech giant said that it might loose $30 billion within two years if the US Trump led US administration ahead with the ban
Following the ban, prospective buyers of Huawei phones began to have doubts whether the phones will loose access to Google services and other Android updates.
To address the drop in sales and also convince buyers that Huawei future wasn’t in jeopardy, Huawei has promised to refund people in the Philippines back their money a 100% when they buy a Huawei device it isn’t able to use apps like Facebook, WhatsApp, Play Store and other Google apps.
Now, the company has on its new website ‘Huawei Answers’ addressed “the most common points of confusion and rumours” regarding what their product can do and can’t.

Huawei is still under a 90-day extended period for it to be able to transact with US tech companies (ends i August). After the extension, the US Commerce Department might effect the restriction fully on Huawei.
Google is, however, working to get an exemption for Android. Other US companies have already complied with the directives and stopped with Huawei. Facebook for example, stopped the pre-installation of WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and Messenger app on Huawei devices. Though these apps could be installed individually but won’t come out of the box.
